Houston Community College hosts Minority Male Initiative Citywide Forum

Houston Community College hosted at a Minority Male Initiative Citywide Forum on March 31 to address an issue that is not only facing us today, but has significant implications on our future.

The challenges facing minority males in Houston include:

· Rapidly increasing rate of minority male high school dropouts

· Low enrollment for minority males in higher education institutions

· More minority males are in jail than in college
