The Houston Community College Spring Branch Campus is in the heart of Houston’s Korean Community, and HCC and the Korean Community have worked closely together on a number of projects. A Korean delegation toured HCC’s Spring Branch and Katy campuses during a visit to Houston Community College Northwest College on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.

HCC Northwest President Dr. Zachary Hodges and HCC Office of International Initiatives Executive Director Gigi Do hosted the group.

“In 1999, we obtained a small grant from NAFSA to host a first National Korean Cultural workshop at Northwest College. This event started our long lasting friendship with the local Korean community in Houston.”
