Houston Community College (HCC) received top honors in the Workforce Development category, which recognizes strategic alliances that promote community and economic development. The HCC presentation, titled Exporting Houston Community College, detailed the development of a fully American accredited associate degree programs offered in Vietnam, a pioneering consortium partnership in Brazil, and multiple accomplishments in the Middle East. Through international partnerships, HCC has reassessed and redefined its service community to educate adaptable and resilient students prepared for the global economy.
