Community College of Qatar students visited Houston during their spring break and spent a day in the Texas countryside. "We hosted 18 students who will be among the 80-plus CCQ students who will be graduating with HCC degrees for the academic year of 2012-13. Executive Director Gigi Do of HCC's Office of International Initiatives announced a consortium meeting for State Department J-Visa students in Phoenix, Arizona as a retreat to meet with other J-visa students from other community colleges. Students from Houston Community College met with other Community College Consortium students from January 3-9, in Phoenix, Arizona. "This was the first time that all the consortium students met each other and it was also the first time for the new coordinators to meet the rest of the team.
