HCC Northeast recently held a graduation ceremony for its first all-female firefighter academy cadets. The female cadets received their certificates and were praised by their instructors— many of whom are Houston Fire female firefighters.

HCC Goes Green

Because of the energy savings provided by the renovations and retrofits of HCC’s lighting, atmospheric and water consumption applications, the college will save an estimated $600,000 a year. The projected savings over 15 years will be $11.3 million.
